Duties Summary-:

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a GS-1702-09 TRAINING TECHNICIAN, Position Description Number D1180000 in SPMD 2719 and is part of the MO HHD 229th Multifunctional Medical Battalion.

APPOINTMENT FACTORS: This is a Permanent Excepted Service position. This is a non-bargaining unit position.

Responsibilities-:

Formulates, oversees and evaluates the overall training programs for the command. Develops yearly and longer training plans.
Establishes and conducts a training evaluation program for subordinate units.
Determines and formulates needed revisions or improvements to training activities.
Reviews training plans and schedules of subordinate units for approval and revision as necessary.
Schedules and ensures the execution of special training courses.
Prepares and submits annual budget requirements to higher headquarters based on yearly training guidance and training calendars.

Qualifications-:

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:

consistent military grade and delegate required ago to the effective date of placement. This is an Excepted Service position that postulate membership in a compatible Army assignment in the employing state’s National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National surveillance must be eligible for instant membership. Selected candidate will be required to be in a compatible military assignment prior to effective date of placement. Selected candidate must be MOS qualified within 12 months from date of appointment.
